What influenced the fashions of the Roaring Twenties?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SclJ94h2oyQ&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pwG-kRi0-Y&feature=related

These videos showed exactly what people wore in the 1920. reason beaing is because the film was made in the 1920s. It gave me a pretty good idea of what was in style in those days. But it didn’t really give me an idea about what average people wore in those days.

History of fashion 1940- 1950
http://www.vintageblues.com/history4.htm

This website told me about what men and women wore during this time. When WWII was happening, women started to wear army uniform cut suits to support the troops who were fighting in war. From all of the articles I looked over, it seems to me that no matter what women were doing, they always seemed to be wearing dresses. It also showed me what type of shoes men and woman were wearing at the time as well. Over the years woman’s clothing changes. But it seems to me that men’s dress shoes didn’t have a drastic change.

Fashion influence of the 1960s
http://www.ringsurf.com/online/726-60_s_fashion.html

This article didn’t show me any pictures of what clothing. But I did describe to me what influenced fashion. Fashion in the 1960s was a time of change. There wasn’t just 1 particular style. This was the decade of change, when there was individuality. In the early 1960s a lot of people had the beach type of style going on. But there was also hippies, who dressed

Why does fashion change so often?
http://www.noubikko.com/noubikko-body/tips/advise/whatfashion.htm

I like parts of this article because it tells u various reasons why fashion changes so often. The main reason why it changes so often is because people change. People want to have their own sense of style, then other people start looking at the individuals that are dressing different and want to dress like them. That’s 1 of the main reason why fashion changes so much. It also has to with the media. A lot of people want to dress like the favorite person in Hollywood. So when ever that star changes, that person will change their style as well.

How do different types of music affect the way people dress?
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070314135858AAvmjiP

everytihg about this article is rite in my personal opinion. I also think the way people dress depened on their mood as well. If their listening to depressing music, their going to dress in clothes that made them look depressed, if their listening to club music their going to dress like their going to the club, if their listening to punk music, their most likely going to dress like a punk. I think music has a very big impact on the way people dress, and this article backs my statement up in the best way ever.

Who first brought the styles and fabrics from other cultures to high fashion?
http://www.answers.com/topic/st-laurent

Yves St. Laurent was one of the biggest fashion designer in the late 1940s, be traveled all around the world to give high fashion countries a taste of what other countries wear. He brought different tastes in fashion to big names like Coco Chanel, Christian Dior, and Parade.

Fashion from generation to generation.
http://www.fashion-era.com/1930s/1930_april_good_housekeeping_1.htm

This article has everything I basically need all bunched up in 1 website. It has what people were wearing from 1914-1955. it doesn’t just have what the movie stars were wearing this those days, it has what the house wives were wearing, what people dressed like when going out, and also what famous people are wearing as well. This website is really informing. It tells me a lot about how people dressed in those days. But in my opinion everything basically looks the same the way the dressed. Nothing really changes until the 1960s.
